Slightly acidic with a delicate rose hue. It’s aromatic, fruity and light bodied. Elegant tannins is giving a typical character of sicilian wines.
The Nero d’Avola Rosato shows a slightly pungent note of strawberry or green apple that may indicate a very low level of volatile acidity. The wine opens to a pretty pink color with raspberry highlights. Wild berry aromas are followed by chopped mint and bitter almond.
Vinification and ageing: Spontaneous fermentation on a pied de cuve of our grapes, without sulfur dioxide, at controlled temperature in steel tank.
Ageing: 5 months in steel and 2 months in the bottle.

The winery is located in the Monreale district of Sicily (Contrada Virzi’), just 60 km from Palermo.
