Deep luminous colour and scents of dark fruits – black cherries and blackberries with an earthy note and some black pepper spiciness.
On the palate ripe fruit is quickly met by pronounced tannins from the Sagrantino blend, giving a good mouth grip. This slowly subsides on the finish and balances out. Matched with food, the fruit comes to the forefront in a very pleasing way.

Aged for 12 months in barrique.
