Fresh and exceptional quality. Ruby red color with a hint of geranium and cherries. Elegant vanilla from the oaks.
This wine is ruby red in color with an unmistakable hint of geranium. Vinified in steel vats and aged for one year in oak barrels, the Nebbiolo Serradenari has all of the freshness of one of Italy’s noblest vines.
You can start your evening with a glass, white meat and pasta with some pecorino cheese. 100% nebbiolo, from one of the 11 comune of Langhe, La Morra. 1 year in oak refined.
Altitude and ventilation mean that harvest time at Serradenari arrives a little later than elsewhere. The peculiar characteristics of this terroir contribute to the production, in low quantities, of a fresh wine of exceptional quality.
Nebbiolo is thought to derive its name from the Italian word nebbia which means “Fog” During harvest, which generally takes place late in October, a deep, intense fog sets into the Langhe region where many Nebbiolo vineyards are located.
